It is one of the more saturated colours in the range, and it holds its own in rooms with strong timber or dark joinery where a paler sisal would disappear. Sisal, seagrass, jute and wool are natural fibres, and the yarn is not uniform the way a synthetic yarn is. Striations in the colour, irregularities in the weave and joining knots (particularly in jute) are inherent characteristics of these products, not manufacturing faults. The carpet is also woven under tension and cut along the warp or weft, so it will not be perfectly straight.
