Harvest Moon is a chunky boucle sisal woven in soft horizontal bands of wheat and honey through grey and taupe, which gives it far more movement than a single-colour weave. The loops are generous and irregular, and the mix of warm and cool tones makes it a useful bridge in a room that has both warm timber and cooler paint.

Sisal, seagrass, jute and wool are natural fibres, and the yarn is not uniform the way a synthetic yarn is. Striations in the colour, irregularities in the weave and joining knots (particularly in jute) are inherent characteristics of these products, not manufacturing faults. The carpet is also woven under tension and cut along the warp or weft, so it will not be perfectly straight.
