Sisal Heather is woven in a coarse, open basketweave and is a much larger and more architectural texture than the fine sisals. Woven in silvery cream shot through with a dark slate. The two-tone yarn gives the floor a cool cast that most natural fibres don't have.

Sisal, seagrass, jute and wool are natural fibres, and the yarn is not uniform the way a synthetic yarn is. Striations in the colour, irregularities in the weave and joining knots (particularly in jute) are inherent characteristics of these products, not manufacturing faults. The carpet is also woven under tension and cut along the warp or weft, so it will not be perfectly straight.
