Bushveld is a chunky ribbed sisal in a soft, warm grey, flecked through with charcoal. The multi-colour yarn mix gives the surface its depth and stops the colour reading flat. It is one of the more textural sisals in the range and works particularly well in rooms with plain walls, where the floor is doing the visual work. Hard-wearing natural fibre, fitted wall to wall. Sisal, seagrass, jute and wool are natural fibres, and the yarn is not uniform the way a synthetic yarn is. Striations in the colour, irregularities in the weave and joining knots (particularly in jute) are inherent characteristics of these products, not manufacturing faults. The carpet is also woven under tension and cut along the warp or weft, so it will not be perfectly straight.
