Walking into most flooring stores, you have many different product types, dozens of suppliers and hundreds  of design options. This can be confusing to everyone - you, the salesperson and even the installer who has to fit some products they are not familiar with.

At Airloom we do things a little differently. Our team has decades of experience in the South African flooing industry and we have used that experience to carefully selct and curate our product offering. 

When we source and select a product that we would be proud to put our name to, we look at a few key elements that helps us root out the good from the bad:

• We look at Sustainability issues around the product:
  • First prize is a product made from sustainable sources (e.g. Sisal, wool, etc).
  • If the product is not from a sustainable source, we interrogate the manufacturer's sustainability policies 
• We look at the Manufacturer of the product - are they reputable; do they have the necessary accreditations and certifications, etc.?
• Then finally, we look at what happens if it were to go wrong - does the supplier have a reasonable complaint and resolution process?
