Otter is the darkest and richest of the vinyl planks — a deep chocolate brown with pronounced grain running the length of each board and enough colour variation to read as real timber rather than a printed finish. It's a floor with presence, and it changes a room rather than sitting quietly underneath it.
Dark floors work hardest in spaces with good natural light, where the depth of colour reads as warmth rather than weight. Against white or pale walls the contrast is striking; with warm neutrals and brass it turns quite classical. It also hides everyday marks better than any pale floor will.
This is our heaviest vinyl construction — 2.5mm overall with a 0.55mm wear layer, backed by 30 years residential and 10 years commercial. That's the specification to choose for a busy family home, a rental, or a shop floor.
