Musket is a warm mid-brown — caramel and tobacco tones with clear, confident graining and good variation between boards. It's one of the warmest floors we carry, and the one to choose if the pale-and-grey look isn't what you're after.
Mid-brown floors are the traditional choice for a reason: they're forgiving, they suit almost every style of furniture, and they age well as a room changes around them. Against white walls Musket reads crisp and contemporary; against warm neutrals it turns comfortable and classical.
It's also practical. Mid tones show less dust than a dark floor and fewer scuffs than a pale one, which makes them the easiest to keep looking good in a busy house.
