Lightning Natural Oak is a pale grey-beige leaning cool, with fine, even graining and minimal variation between boards. It's one of the lightest laminates here, and it reads clean and contemporary rather than rustic.
Pale cool floors do a particular job well: they make a space feel larger, brighter and more modern, and they give coloured furniture and artwork room to stand out. They suit white, pale grey and soft blue walls, and pair naturally with black metal, glass and light timber.
The caution with any pale cool floor is warmth — against cream walls or warm timber furniture it can look slightly stark. Worth a sample in the room.
