Gunslinger is the darkest and coolest of the Lemett colours — a weathered pewter grey with noticeably more character than the rest of the range. The grain is more pronounced, with visible knots and darker figuring through the planks, so it carries more movement across a floor and reads as aged or reclaimed timber rather than new oak.
It's the one to choose when you want the floor to be a feature rather than a backdrop. It works well against white and pale grey walls, and alongside black metal, concrete and darker joinery. In a room already short of light it can feel heavy, so it's best where there's decent natural light to lift it.
Grey floors show less dirt than pale ones but more dust — an easy trade in a living room, worth a thought in a busy passage.
