De Hoop is a cool mid-grey with brown running underneath — the deepest of the four entry colours, and the most clearly grey. The graining is moderate and even, giving the floor texture without much tonal jump between boards.
Grey suits rooms with strong natural light, where it stays crisp; in darker rooms it can flatten. Against white walls and black fittings it reads contemporary and clean, and it's an easy backdrop for colourful furniture or rugs, which is worth knowing if the floor isn't meant to be the feature.
Specification is 2mm with a 0.2mm wear layer, 187mm planks, and a 10-year residential warranty. It's honestly an entry-level floor — well suited to bedrooms, studies, flats and rentals, and worth stepping up from if it's going into a main living area or hallway.
